Sewing Workshop May

For our May Sewing Workshop we are going to create a Makeup purse with a brush holder section.  This lovely little bag would make an ideal gift for a friend. Perfect for daily use.  This workshop uses a variety of skills which makes this suitable for any sewing level however, you do need basic knowledge of your machine to attend. Please come and try!

Monday 9th May 12:00 to 17:00 – Central Milton Keynes (free parking)

Tuesday 10th May 10.00 to 15:00 – Emberton

In this workshop we are making a Makeup bag with a flap that conceals a brush holder. It is fully lined. For many people, adding zips can sound quite scary, but I assure you, they will become your new friend.  You will also learn how to add a tongue lock on the flap. The bag and lining is made using a lightweight fabric or if you prefer you could use a waterproof lining. It is softly padded to protect the contents. If necessary, all the specialist hardware you need is available to buy from me at class thus saving you searching and potentially buying the wrong pieces.

This bag can be made on a domestic sewing machine.  You will learn a variety of basic skills making this workshop suitable for any sewing level, although you will need basic knowledge of your sewing machine.

Skill Level and Needs List:

To attend this workshop you will need a domestic sewing machine and basic knowledge of its operation.  Once I have your booking, I will email you a needs list to ensure you have time to prepare (don’t panic!  I will ensure I bring extra’s to the workshop just in case).

Cancellation Policy:

In the case of cancellation within 48 hours of the workshop start, I reserve the right to retain 25% of your payment.
