Sewing Workshop – July

For our July Sewing Workshop we are going to create a Cross the Body Bag.  This bag has a zipped main section with external pockets either side. Your friends won’t believe you have made it!  Perfect for daily use or when you don’t need a large handbag. This workshop uses a variety of skills which makes this suitable for any sewing level however, you do need basic knowledge of your machine to attend.  My workshops are held in a relaxed and fun environment. Come sew with us!

July Sewing Workshop – Details:

Monday 4^th July From 12:00 To 17:00 – Central Milton Keynes (free parking)

Tuesday 5^th July From 10:00 To 15:00 – Emberton

In this workshop we are making a small cross body bag. It is fully lined with exterior pockets and an adjustable handle. For many people, adding zips can sound quite scary, but I assure you, they will become your new friend. The bag is ideally made using a denim weight fabric cotton with patterned fabric for the exterior pockets. If necessary, all the specialist hardware you need is available to buy from me at class thus saving you searching and potentially buying the wrong pieces.  This bag can be made on a domestic sewing machine.  You will learn a variety of basic skills making this workshop suitable for any sewing level, although you will need basic knowledge of your sewing machine.

Skill Level and Needs List:

To attend this workshop you will need a domestic sewing machine and basic knowledge of its operation.  Once I have your booking, I will email you a needs list to ensure you have time to prepare (don’t panic!  I will ensure I bring extra’s to the workshop just in case).

Cancellation Policy:

In the case of cancellation within 48 hours of the workshop start, I reserve the right to retain 25% of your payment.
