Sewing Workshop – August 

For our August Sewing Workshop we are going to make placemats. Appliqué your own design or use mine. These clever mats button together to create a table runner or you can leave them as separate mats pouches. Your friends will love them!  Perfect for daily use. This workshop uses a variety of skills which makes this suitable for any sewing level however, you do need basic knowledge of your machine to attend. Please come and try!

Sewing Workshop August – Details:

Monday 8th August  12:00 to 17:00 – Central Milton Keynes (free parking)

Tuesday 9th August  10.00 to 15:00 – Emberton

In this workshop we are making placemats. Learn how to appliqué using a satin stitch or free motion stitch, how to make and attach binding and then how to make a buttonhole. 

These placemats can be made on a domestic sewing machine.  You will learn a variety of basic skills making this workshop suitable for any sewing level, although you will need basic knowledge of your sewing machine.

I have been sewing for as long as I can remember, I love finding fabrics and creating things of beauty in my happy space. I take great care to ensure everything I make is of an exceptional quality.  So come join me at my workshop, let me share with you my knowledge and experience and help you create something unique of your own to be proud of. All my workshops are local or within a few miles of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.  They are fun and friendly so please do come along.

Skill Level and Needs List:

To attend this workshop you will need a domestic sewing machine and basic knowledge of its operation.  Once I have your booking, I will email you a needs list to ensure you have time to prepare (don’t panic!  I will ensure I bring extra’s to the workshop just in case).

Cancellation Policy:

In the case of cancellation within 48 hours of the workshop start, I reserve the right to retain 25% of your payment.
