Have you browsed through extensive collections of wedding veil styles you still can’t find one that’s quite right for you? Or maybe you dream to have something really different for your wedding veil that isn’t off the shelf and unique.
You can “build” your perfect veil from the ground up (or the comb down) with bags by carmen.
Step 1 – Length of your veil
The first thing you need to think about is the length of your veil. If you have lots of detail on the back of your dress you might want it shorter.
How are you having your hair? Longer veils can be heavier so need to think about this too.
Step 2 – Lace or not
The next thing to think about are those details. Are you going to add lace around the edge, if so how large do you want this to be and how detailed?
Maybe you want something simpler.
Step 3 – Colour of lace, Colour of the veil.
The choice of colour can be endless…. it doesn’t need to be the traditional white or cream….
Step 4 – Extras like dates and names
We can add you and your partners names or the wedding date to make it extra special.
What is the lead time on a bespoke wedding veil?
I generally like to say around 8 to 12 weeks. This way we can make sure we are not rushing any decisions and I can source the right materials.
How much do they cost?
Veils can range depending on your material, I do not make commission on the material or profit from it. Generally, my veils will start from £200 and you are paying for the quality of the make and the time to make it perfect. This includes all fittings appointments and adjustments. I do request a non refundable deposit of £50 to cover initial materials and time.
